Grizzlies sign Iranian C Haddadi
The Memphis Grizzlies have signed free-agent center Hamed Haddadi, who recently played for the Iranian national team in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Haddadi, 23, was the only player in the Olympic games to average a double- double, posting 16.6 points and 11.2 rebounds to go along with 2.6 blocks over five games. His best performance came against Argentina, when he poured in 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
