Here we are at home each night, doing laundry and dishes, feeding the fish and trying to decipher the latest Sudoku. Ah, the glamorous life of a sports writer in the dog days of summer.
Oh, and we're watching the Olympics on the magical machine of color, sound and motion -- looking out for Valley athletes such as Jason Donald (baseball), Rick Merlo and Jaime Hipp (water polo), Andrea Duran and Laura Berg (softball), and Kim Kreiner (javelin).
